AED - Day 203 -phone sketch

Saw several dragonflies outside today and decided to do a quick phone sketch of one tonight. Dragonfly (similar to butterfly) is a symbol of transformation (change) and joy. Dragonflies live a short life and are a reminder to live life to its fullest in the here and now, something I've been working on a lot lately. So I suppose its only fitting it showed up in several ways for me today.

AED - Day 200!!!

Well, I wish I had something exciting to show for making it to 200 days in a row of being creative, but so far all I did today was paint a bunch of stars. Stars are kinda celebratory though. Next week I will add quotes and jewels to make it all sparkly!

I did several things today including touching up some walls and sketching out 3 quotes. This is the only one I got completed though. The butterfly I did last year.

So I totally missed AED yesterday. I dunno what happened. Woke up this morning and realized it. I always remember it even if its as I'm crawling into bed and I quickly sketch something out. But for some reason it never crossed my mind yesterday. It was a busy day, but I really have no excuse. Sigh. Oh well. 195 days in a row is nothing to sneeze at, so I'm just gonna keep going and pretend it didn't happen haha.

Today I added stars in and around the swirls all over the room I've been working on for my client. I also glittered them (per request) and the flowers. Below are a couple close ups, tho its hard to see the glitter.  I also made a bit more progress on the Disney painting this evening.

My next project sketched out. It is a gift for my daughter who had an internship at Disney last year. She said she wouldn't look at my blog so hopefully she isn't peeking! Its all her favorite characters and representative of her time there working at Pinocchio's Village Haus restaurant. It was supposed to be her Christmas present (last year whoops) but I ran out of time back then. Her birthday is next week and I promised it would be done by then, so got a busy weekend of painting ahead of me. Nothing like putting things off til the last minute. Sigh.

Just a quick sketch in my phone today. I'm still seeing owls everywhere lately and hearing one out in the woods most nights. Owls presence is very strong right now. I hope its a good sign. I could certainly use some wisdom and change.
