MOST BAPTISTS SAY...... BY STEVE FINNELL
ReplyDeleteJesus said, Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved......(NKJV)
Most Baptists say, "He who believes is saved and he who is baptized is permitted to join the Baptist church."
The apostle Peter said, "Acts 2:38...."Repent, and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (NKJV)
Most Baptists say, "Repent for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ because your sins have already been for given.
The apostle Paul said, "1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,(NKJV)
Most Baptists say, "Christians can never depart from the faith, because once a person is saved they can never be lost."
Most Baptists say, "You do not need to be baptized in water to be saved, however, you must be baptized to join the Baptist church."
